HIGHLIGHTS
Your dog might be better off in a home environment while you are away rather than a typical kennel environment where no one is there at night. I am on the property full time; and while with me, your dog will be a member of my family and will be lovingly cared for and kept safe until your return. I try and maintain a calm atmosphere for my guests.
The main play yard is over an acre, fenced with 4' high fencing and contains a puppy playground, gazebo, tunnel, and lots of shade on the deck for relaxing. There is also approximately 6 more fenced acres for dogs to run in.
Manners are reinforced while your dog is here, and all play is supervised. Play groups are carefully curated.
The "dog quarters" contains separate 5'x5'x6' high enclosures for each dog, complete with raised Kuranda beds. You can bring your dog's blanket or other belongings to be put in their own space, but please avoid any toys that squeak or make noise. These enclosures are used to feed dogs separately to avoid any resource guarding, and also to keep the dogs separated when I need to leave the property for an appointment or to get groceries. Rambunctious puppies sometimes need a space to rest and relax, and the "dog quarters" provide a perfect spot!
A large concrete 6'-high fenced dog run is attached to the "dog quarters" where the dogs are taken out when it is muddy outside and before bedtime - for their safety, they are not allowed to run in the play yard once dusk arrives.
Picture updates are posted on the The Dog Ranch LLC Facebook page or sent to you via text. This helps you "stay in touch" while you're away and see how much fun your dog is having.
I look forward to hosting your furry family member while you are out of town ... whether it is for a day, a week, or a month!
