HELPFUL INFO
If you mention that you will be picking your dog up before noon WHEN YOU BOOK THE STAY there is no charge for the day of pickup, as long as you DO pickup before noon (this allows us to book that space for another dog starting that afternoon). If you end up getting delayed and coming to pickup after noon, additional payment will be expected for that day. We can’t accommodate refunds if we plan on your dog occupying the kennel for the full day (or sometimes even days) and you decide to cut your trip short.
You are welcome to bring a bed for your dog, as long as it fits on top of the raised Kuranda beds that are in the kennels (27” x 44”). We do not have anywhere to store our raised beds to accommodate a larger bed from home. Also, we cannot guarantee the safety of any bedding or blankets or toys that you bring for your dog. The possibility exists of a kennel mate dragging your dog’s item through the bars to their kennel. If your dog (or neighbor dog) starts to chew on anything that is brought from home (that is not meant to be chewed), that item will be removed. We do not want any obstructions happening during their stay! And, please … NO SQUEAKY TOYS!
Please bring a little extra food for your dog’s stay just in case you are delayed in returning. This allows your dog to stay on a familiar diet and avoids any gastro issues. There is no need to bring bowls.
If your dog is on any prescription medication, the medication needs to be in the original prescription bottles with the vet label clearly legible.
Please remember to text me a head’s up with your ETA the day before your dog’s stay begins. As well as shoot me a text when you’re on your way the day the boarding begins and ends. (608-577-7778) This allows me to plan my day as well as make sure that all dogs are contained prior to your arrival. For everyone’s safety, I cannot leave any boarding dogs outside with others while I check your dog in/out.
We do our best to put a compatible play group together while your dog is staying with us, but sometimes this isn’t possible for one reason or another. When we can’t put a compatible group together, your dog will go out by themselves or with me. Safety is my number one priority. As always, there is never a cancelation charge. All I ask is that you let me know as soon as you know that you no longer need the space so I can release it to another family. Life happens … I don’t want to make it any more expensive than it has to be by tacking on a cancelation charge.
